Service Policy for Orbital Systems AB

This document outlines Orbital's service policy with adaptations based on Orbital's presence in specific markets.

Denmark and Sweden

For customers in Denmark and Sweden, Orbital collaborates with local service partners to ensure all necessary services are efficiently provided. Orbital compensates these local service partners according to our established pricing guidelines.

Service Coverage for Warranty Issues

For any issues covered under the product warranty, service will be provided by Orbital's local service partners in Denmark or Sweden. Orbital will cover all costs associated with both the product and the service.

Non-Warranty Service

If service is required for issues not covered by the product warranty, all associated costs, including service and product expenses, will be invoiced to the customer. Orbital’s service partners will perform non-warranty services based on the Orbital Service Price List, and the customer will be responsible for all related costs.

Shipping Costs

For spare parts orders, Orbital will cover the shipping costs.

Service Price List - Sweden/Denmark

1. Initial Service Cost

The initial service cost is set at USD 400

2. Daily Rate

An additional fee of USD 450 will be applied for each subsequent day of service beyond the initial visit.

3. Travel Expenses

Any travel-related expenses for service personnel, including transportation, will be billed at actuals if applicable.

4. Accommodation

Accommodation costs, if required, will be billed at actuals.

All other regions

These policies apply to regions where Orbital does not yet have a direct market presence. Updated policies will be provided as Orbital expands its market presence. For customers outside of our core markets, it is essential to supply a local service partner for any necessary services. Orbital will compensate the local service partner according to our pricing guidelines for local service partners. If a local service partner is not provided, Orbital can offer service according to the price list.

Please note: For products sold via Hornbach in Germany, the same service policy as Sweden and Denmark applies.

Service Coverage for Warranty Issues

Local Service Partner

  • Orbital will cover all product and service costs if the issue is covered under warranty and handled by a local service partner.
  • For spare parts, any shipping costs exceeding USD 50 will be borne by the customer.

Orbital Direct Service

  • Orbital will cover product costs only.
  • Service costs, including travel expenses, will be invoiced to the customer as per the Orbital Service Price List.

Non-Warranty Service

If service is required for issues not covered by the product warranty, all associated costs, including service and product expenses, will be invoiced to the customer. Orbital’s service partners will perform non-warranty services based on the Orbital Service Price List, and the customer will be responsible for all related costs.

Shipping Costs

  • For spare parts orders, Orbital will arrange shipping under Incoterms Delivered At Place (DAP).
  • Customers are responsible for customs duties, taxes, and import clearance.
  • Orbital will cover shipping costs up to USD 50; any excess will be invoiced to the customer.

Service Price List - All other regions

1. Initial Service Cost

The initial service cost is set at USD 2,000.

2. Daily Rate

An additional fee of USD 500 will be applied for each subsequent day of service beyond the initial visit.

3. Travel Expenses

Travel expenses, including transportation and related costs, will be added to the overall service invoice. These expenses will be billed at actuals.

4. Accommodation

Accommodation costs, if applicable, will be added to the overall service invoice. These costs will be billed at actuals.

Pricing Guidelines for Local Service Partners

  • Compensation is based on the estimated service time.
  • Fees shall not exceed 30% over the estimated compensation unless deviations from the service time are justified.
