Skanska Deep Green Challenge Winners

The Deep Green Challenge is a competition organised by Swedish construction group Skanska, in part with networking organisation Sustainable Business Hub. The aim of which is to identify new, green, technical solutions that can be introduced into the building supply chain in order to reduce the impact of new construction projects.

Orbital System’s space inspired shower technology was selected from amongst hundreds of other competitors as the winner on October 5th. The unique combination of technology enables real-time, water purification and continuous water recirculation whilst letting users track savings performance and behaviour data online.  The first of its kind application in a shower.

The shower system meets Skanska's need for solutions that reduce energy consumption and save water and can be applied in any new housing, hotel or commercial workspace building project.
